Living in a home at the top of Vancouver’s tallest building has a distinct advantage — there is nothing blocking your sightline. I’ve seen lots of incredible views of the city before, but none from this height. Even on a grey, overcast day, the panorama offered by the floor to ceiling windows takes your breath away. I don’t have a fear of heights, but just getting close to these windows made my pulse race a little.
I would love to have spent a few hours there, but time was limited and the conditions were not ideal. Most of the furniture was in transit to the owner’s new home, and although the cloudy sky gave me a nice soft light to work with, an evening shoot would have produced some jaw-dropping images. But I can’t complain. Not too many people get paid to take pictures of homes like this.
