Twilight shoots seem to be the rage right now. I just did another one of a downtown Vancouver condo. I love these floor to ceiling windows. You can get vertigo standing right against them and looking down. This home is in the Flatiron Building at 1277 Melville Street, on the 28th floor.
You just have to be patient to get these shots, and wait until almost all the daylight has left the sky. I generally shoot a number of frames with the interior lights on, then a couple with the lights off and blend them together to get rid of the reflections in the glass. One big cost savings with homes like these: you don’t need a TV. You can just stare out the window and watch the world go by.
If you like downtown living this place is ideal. Dodi Thorhaug has the details.
