It might have been the overcast, drizzly weather, but this beautiful West Vancouver home reminded me of an eagle’s nest perched high in the upper branches of a tree. The back deck was stunning — giant Douglas Firs thrusting out through the floorboards, and a view that stretched out to – well- nothing, cause it was pouring rain. But the rain just added to the coziness of the interior. The main living area was completely dominated by a circular fireplace in the middle of the room. Polished hardwood was everywhere. Each room had huge windows overlooking the enormous trees on the deck. Truly one of a kind. John Jennings has all the details.
