It’s not widely known, but many of the homes in Vancouver’s Hastings Sunrise neighbourhood have the most interesting views in the city. Take this loft in the Cannery Row building. It has a front row seat to our bustling container port operations, Burrard Inlet, and the North Shore mountains. You can enjoy the view out the 12 foot high windows from both floors of this large unit. A rooftop deck, polished concrete floor and muted earth tones on the walls add to the appeal of this unique home. See Craig Rushton for all the details.

October 7, 2011Own a piece of history
January 18, 2011We all know that discussions of Vancouver’s history pale in comparison with some of the great places of the world. What other city would put a plaque on a house once owned by Jimi Hendrix’s grandparents, for crying out loud? But we are not completely devoid of culture. The West End has a few architectural gems that are approaching 100 years old. The Queen Charlotte Apartments is one, and realtor Craig Rushton recently listed a two-bedroom suite for sale, a rarity in this neighbourhood. The building has an impressive two storey entrance, art deco finishings, and the original bird cage elevator, among other charms. It’s on the market just today, so now’s your chance to be first in line!
