Although Richmond is flat, it’s few hi-rises are well spaced apart and offer an unobstructed view of the Lower Mainland. This condo, offered by Vancouver Luxury Realty, also faces north, making it easy to capture these impressive views from its floor to ceiling windows.

I put a lot of miles on my car this week, traveling from UBC to Horseshoe Bay, to Coquitlam, to southern Richmond and everything in between. After a quiet January, my phone is now ringing off the hook with realtors and homeowners wanted to get their places photographed.
This Steveston condo was particularly memorable, as it had been impeccably staged, which always makes the photography process much easier and enjoyable. The unit’s balcony also faced a nice garden and lagoon, perfect tranquility for some early morning yoga, if you’re into that kind of thing. Contact Bill de Mooy for all the listing information.
Here are a few daytime shots of the Autowest Infiniti dealership. Sure makes a difference when the weather cooperates!
The folks at Richmond’s Autowest Group wanted some new images of their BMW and Infiniti showrooms for their website. Hey, right up my alley. Had to make two trips, though. They wanted daytime and twilight shots, and both places faced east, so the sunny photos had to be done in the morning, the twilight shots at, well twilight. I got a chance to slip a couple of humans into a few of the shots, which I don’t always get to do. I’ll be back in a few days to shoot some video for them as well. Looking forward to that. In the meantime, here are a few of the finished images of the BMW facility.
The owners of this home in Richmond’s Quilchena Green really wanted to make it their own, so they decked it out in vibrant colours, murals on the walls, and a toy train running through the kitchen. Here are a few shots of this unique home. Contact Dave Hutchinson for more information.
While shooting a new listing for Dolores Chiu the other day, I spent some time taking some scenic shots along one of Richmond’s dykes. It was an overcast day, but it kind of suited the muted tones of the marshes and stillness of the river. These images will come in handy whenever a new listing comes up in the same neighbourhood.
