I was relieved that the day of the shoot was overcast, because if it was sunny I would have had a huge challenge lighting the interiors. Daylight reaches every corner of this airy home, and the dark wood paneling would have been a black hole of despair in the bright sunlight, as I have demonstrated <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.johnbentley.ca\/?p=148\" title=\"high contrast photography\" target=\"_blank\">before<\/a>. In a well-designed and furnished home like this though, the interiors are perfectly suited to the muted, soft light that a cloudy day offers.
