What other city would put a plaque on a house once owned by <a href=\"http:\/\/bentleyimages.blogspot.com\/2010_08_01_archive.html\">Jimi Hendrix&#8217;s <i>grandparents<\/i><\/a>, for crying out loud? But we are not completely devoid of culture. The West End has a few architectural gems that are approaching 100 years old. The Queen Charlotte Apartments is one, and realtor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.craigrushton.com\/\">Craig Rushton<\/a> recently listed a two-bedroom suite for sale, a rarity in this neighbourhood. The building has an impressive two storey entrance, art deco finishings, and the original bird cage elevator, among other charms.
